MaManna Renewable Energy Announces New Board Members

TWO HIGH-PROFILE BUSINESS LEADERS have joined the board of MaManna Renewable Energy, a Halifax design and manufacturing business focused on wind power. Scott Travers, president and chief operating officer of Minas Basin Pulp and Power and David Regan, executive-vice president corporate development for DHX Media, will join the board later this month. Mr. Travers is known for his leadership in environmental stewardship and renewable energy circles. Mr. Regan has led three acquisitions and four financing rounds to raise $48 million for the television production and distribution company. Another announcement by the company includes the appointment of Jonathan Barry     as senior vice-president, business development. He was formerly a vice-president with Bell Canada.

Jeff Larsen, chief operating officer of MaManna, said the new additions will help the company expand the renewable energy systems business into new jurisdictions and increase the distribution of Nova Scotia-made wind turbines internationally.
